Delhi’s historical connections, cultural experiences, street shopping and endless recreational options allures all kinds of tourists travelling to NCR. Most of Delhi’s monuments are constructed using red sandstone and as such one can see a certain kind of resemblance in most of them.

Delhi is well connected with Gurgaon and most people residing or travelling from Gurgaon often make it a point to take a One Day Gurgaon to Delhi Trip by Private Car.

Gurgaon also known as Gurugram was once a quaint and unknown suburb of the National Capital Region (NCR), is now one of the liveliest, modern and youth preferred cities. It is lined up with the best of brands, eateries and workplaces.

The city’s skyline is also one of its kind in India. While Gurugram is famous for Kingdom of Dreams, Cyber Hub and various natural treasures of flora and fauna, it somewhere lacks the historical and cultural diversity that Delhi has to offer. Hence, most people often take a day tour of Delhi to enrich themselves and get the best of both worlds.

Unlike popular opinion, the hustle-bustle only adds to the charm of the city. A stunning paradox of quiet and noise, Delhi despite being one of the most populated cities of the world, one can find their calm and peace. This capital city of India brings you a historical prodigy from the times of Ramayana to the Mughal Empire and has even played a central role during India’s Independence Movement.

This heritage site is constructed using red sandstone and marble. There are Kufic inscriptions on them, most of which praise Mohammed Ghori. A notable feature is a circular staircase within the minaret which has over 379 steps which leads to the top.

The minaret has five storeys and its architecture seems different and distinct from the other floors. This is because the minaret was constructed by three different rulers of the Delhi Sultanate.

While its base was constructed by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak, it was his successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish who further added three storeys to the minaret. The finishing of the minaret and the last two storeys were added by Firoz Shah Tuglak.
